As a qualified counsellor trained in the person-centred approach, based in Newquay, Cornwall, I support you to take control so that you feel empowered to overcome your difficulties and make positive changes.

I have spent many years working in the field of psychology supporting adults and adolescents with a variety of mental health difficulties. My experience is varied, from working within HMP Dartmoor Prison Service, a private psychology company, Cornwall Council's Clinical Psychology and Jigsaw Service, before training as a counsellor. My counselling journey began working with survivors of trauma — specifically domestic abuse and sexual violence — before moving on to providing counselling within the NHS, supporting individuals with anxiety and depression.

In addition to supporting and helping others, I have a passion for animals — specifically horses and dogs — and being outside in nature. I find being on the beaches and by the sea incredibly therapeutic and restorative.
